Our preacher is out of town for two weeks. I am preaching on Sunday morning, Wed. night and then the next Wed. night. The wife and I are running a bible study on every other Thursday night at our house. We are keeping busy. I ‘m just joking about “I ought to get paid for this.” I’m more than happy to do it for fun. Its hard coming up with a lesson I start one thing and then get going off on something else. Well I don’t have a lot of news we will be coming home soon can’t wait to see everyone. Its going to be a blast.

Woke up this morning and decided to go for a run with Amos. We went to the park and ran for a while. We got back in the truck to drive home and I thought hey why not let him ride in the back. Dogs like that right? I was almost home when I looked in the rearview mirror and saw him with his paws up on the side and as I was slowing down and trying to tell him to sit he jumps out of the truck. I was going at least 30 mph. Luckily he landed on his feet for the most part. I pulled over and got and out and got him to come to me. I picked him up and put him in the cab with me. I looked down and I had blood all over me. So naturally I thought the worst. I went the rest of the way home and ran in to tell Marissa to call the vet and tell them I’ll be there soon. She saw all the blood and naturally thought the worst. I left without my phone or my wallet. I get to the vet wich is about a 15-20 min. drive. Apparently they had moved buildings and we hadn’t recieved the change of address yet. So I drove back home changed clothes got the wallet the phone and the gps. We finally got to the vet. Amos is fine he cut his ear pretty good and has some road rash on hi back legs. It was a crazy hectic morning. I’m glad that Amos is fine. I just hope people don’t think I’m a crazy husband dog owner. My wife is limping around on a hurt ankle and now my dog has a bloody ear and scabs on his legs. Jeez I wonder whats giong to happen to me.

Well I got back home around 7:30 on Thursday night. By the time I finished my post mission paper work and what not I got home home about 9 ish. Its good to be home. It was funny every where we were it was sunny and hot and beautiful. Then we land in New Jersey and it was cold and rainy. Thats Jersey for ya. We don’t have any big big plans this weekend probably just hanging out. I’m sure we will go to the movies a few times. Well thats really all I have for now nothing crazy or exciting happening. Congrats Christian and Melanie on the upcoming new edition to the fam. Can’t wait to see you all in a couple months.

Hey everyone just wanted to drop a quick note and update everyone on my trip. I made it to Japan. We went out to take off today and one of the fighters broke so we will be here until they get fixed. Prolly two days. Then we will head back the way we came. Wake Hawaii Cali and home. Seeing some pretty cool stuff. In Hawaii I met up with an old friend from church camp who is a Marine stationed there and he took me to church and they just happen to be having a fellowship lunch that day. I timed it just right. Fresh pineapple, and some good hawaiin food can’t beat that. Wake Island is just an lsland with a flight line and some dorm rooms there is nothing there. Nice beaches but covered in coral. Japan is nothing like I thought it would be. But it is hot and humid. We went downtown yesterday, it was pretty cool just your normal downtown stores but with samuri swords and budda statues. Well thats all for now I’ll let you all know when I leave here and get back to the states.

We went to downtown Phili yesterday. It was a lot of fun. We ran the Rocky steps, saw Ben Franklin’s statue, and a bunch of other stuff at the Franklin Museum. Today we are going to bbq at a friends house and play games and watch fireworks. Can’t wait. I think July 4th is my favorite holiday. Even more than Christams. Christmas is great and all but on the 4th you get to do all the things I love. Like bbq, hangout outside, play catch, fireworks, summer, shorts, lakes, beaches, fun, everything. We went to the blueberry festival this weekend. This little town was the first town to cultivate blueberries in America. We had a good time. Then we started VBS with church. It has been a good time so far. I’m staying busy with work and Marissa is staying busy trying to keep me and Amos in line. Thats a full time job. Well like I said just a few words.
